school's OUT for today because of
SNOWWWWWWW. (:
trains, buses, airports and schools were closed!
it's the heaviest snowfall in 18 years!
and it isn't even SUPPOSE to snow in london anyway.
it's been snowing nonstop since the liverpool match yesterday.
hella pretty.
the view was completely magnificent.
the snow was flying everywhere.
it's now calf-deep. about 30cm deep?
morning began with MAJOR SNOWBALL FIGHT.
I'VE GOT LIKE BRUISES AT MY HIPS AND KNEES.
CRAP this.
we've been snowball fighting since last night thinking that the snow wont last.
who knew it would snow throughout the night.
(:
be it somebody you know or you dont know, everyone who comes out of their block gets hit by snowballs.
it was complete chaos. haha.
there were people using trolleys to stock up snowballs,
some building some defence warzone,
some using shovels,
some using big brooms etc.
it was really noisy.
walls were fulll of snow and there were even people throwing through windows!
my table was FULL OF SNOW,
and my floor too.
crapp.
the school grounds were full of snowmans as well.
(:
it was beautifully WHITE.
winter's really one of the prettiest seasons.
but TOO COLD.
my fingers and hands were numbed and in PAIN.
swollen red though i had gloves.
crap that.
we went out to the church grounds behind the school, river thames and greenwich park!
and we did SNOW-SLIDING (SNOW "BOARDING" ?)
the snow was so heavy that the steep slopes and hills at the park was like so SUITABLE for skii-ing and snow boarding! :D
when we got to the town, there were tons of people heading back home or towards the park with coffee trays, sleighs, boards, cardboards, garbage bags, sacks, signboards, "caution wet floor" signs etc.
WHATEVER you can think of, they're using them to slide down those slopes.
we got to the park and it was like WINTERWONDERLAND.
there were so many SNOWMAN, BIG SNOW BOULDERS, SNOWBALL FIGHTS.
zillions of people were sliding and skidding down those slopes hills or whatever you call them.
snow was deep though.
it's so tiring and wet to trudge through with my heavy boots.
anyhow, the wind was strong and snow was heavy too.
blowing into my face and visibility wasn't that good. >:(
anyhow, we managed to grab some garbage bags, cardboards and trays left behind by people.
and we used them to slide!
SUPER DUPER FUN PLEASE.
WHO NEEDS MONEY TO HAVE FUN YEAH? :D
it was tiring and super slippery to get back up the slopes though.
i only had two tries, once with khoa and once with rachel.
NEVER ALONE HAHAHAH.
tumbling over and lying in the snow's really COOL.
well i shan't bore you with too much of these hefty information.
i'll let the photos talk when i post them up, WHICH wont be that soon.
i'm LAZY. haha.
just had mexican food for dinner and snow's stopped finally.
WE'RE ALL PRAYING IT'LL KEEP SNOWING SO SCHOOL WONT BE IN AND THAT WE CAN GO SLIDE IN THE PARK AGAIN.
please let school be called off.
it's forecasted to be snowing with sleet showers intermittently till friday,
so i'll make the best of it.
it's freaking cold.
oh and how ironic, it's snowing in chinese new year and not during the christmas last year (:
p.s.
HAIL FERNANDO TORRES, HAIL LIVERPOOL.
2-0 win over chelsea, THAT'S BRILLIANT ISN'T IT. :D
let's kick manchester united off the top of the table.
