EURO 2008

EURO 2008 kicked off just today or rather yesterday midnight.
YEAH SEXY ~

this means less sleep,more excitement and more midnight snacks.
this is so rocking alright.

might not've been really interested in the opening match
BUT
haha i was like really into building up the whole EURO 2008 mood,
so i watched anyway.
or rather, i watched the opening match to stay up for the 2.45am PORTUGAL match. :D
anyway,
CZECH REPUBLIC swept SWITZERLAND off their feet with 1-0.


okay, so i wasn't that excited with that opening match but the next match
was much more of an upbeat.
PORTUGAL kicked TURKEY's er, butt haha, 2-0.


EURO 2008, the only teams that i would definitely stay up to watch:

PORTUGAL
GERMANY
FRANCE
SPAIN
ITALY

of course i'll stay up for semi-finals/finals no matter who plays.

well for FRANCE and ITALY wise, i'm watching out of curiousity.
ITALY winner of previous world cup, of course i'll be watching how you'd play.
FRANCE, i used to like you alot but not as much now considering Zidane and all are missing.
but i'll catch both your matches still.

REASONS i wanna watch GERMANY's play:

:) liked him since er, BAH, who knows when.

outstanding, but whether he would'd be on form's another matter.
he's my my my my goalkeeper boy. :)

GERMANY plays in such unity that hmm, i'm sorta impressed.
the last reason i wanna watch them is for their
PENALTY SHOOTOUT MAGIC.
since EURO'76, which was like damn long ago,
they've yet to lose a penalty shootout in any major international tournament.
so i wonder how long this magic will last? (:

hmm, well there would've been another reason to watch GERMANY,
if this guy hadn't retire.

OLIVER KAHN, the old goalkeeper.
HIS FACE, HIS EXPRESSIONS, HIS POSTURE,HIS EVERYTHING,
is like scary okay.
i was like afraid of him when i watched him play when i was young.
the REAL GORILLA's HIM.
one of the best european goalkeeper award winners okay.

and named amongst FIFA 100.
he's the first ever reason i supported PORTUGAL. :D
now that he's retired, it's time his jersey no. 7 got passed on to
that handsome CRISTIANO RONALDO. yeahh~

AHH YES~
he looks YOUNG. :D
need not elaborate on his excellence.
the amount of goals scored by him has been impressive.
he can be my affair. HAHA.

my excitement over this whole EURO 2008 is so overwhelming,
that i think i'm down with EURO fever.
and i LIKE IT.
