a royal day out part 1

school's started today.
here, they call orientation, [induction].
induction kicked off in a so not welcoming note.
we were first invited to a 2 and half hour english written, reading and speaking test.
boringg~
anyway, picture pleasures for your eyes.

westminster, where the ministers hang about.

the [superman changing booth].

trafalgar square.
it's really different here that people love to sit about chilling, doing nothing at open spaces like these.
tons of pigeons.

haha mum.
belly showing there.

horse guards

the horses were really still, so were the guards.

time for changing of horse guards.
out they came from the stables.

horse in front, move out please, i'm coming right in.

and out came the one reliefed of duty.

sent both the horse guards in for a rest.

close the door and we see a pile of poop.

here's where those horses do their runs.

st.james park.

mum's been really happy these days.
it's a good sign isn't it (:
she loves birds, chickens, ducks, geese, swans etc.
BIRDS basically. crazy over them.
look at how she's smiling :D

ah, her favourite activity, feeding those birds.
birds from the water, sky or nearby bushes came flocking.
this park's like inhabited with tons of these flying creatures.
mum's really enjoying all these attention from those birds.
so cute (:
follow follow her please!
and oh by the way, these birds were blocking our way.
our, i mean me and the rest of the park-users.
we were just waiting and giggling at mum.
haha.
guess mum's really enjoying herself (:
squirrels too!nut-eating there.
this guy's a squirrel lover.
birds get to eat their bread but squirrels take nuts!
he brought a whole tub of nuts for squirrels to eat.
and the plastic rod he's holding on his lap,
he uses it to chase the birds away.
awww, (:

with some place as grand and as important with these as security guards.
indeed, you've guessed that this is buckingham palace.
where the queen stays and work.
where the royals stay and work.

and of course, we went in for a tour.
summer opening of the buckingham palace and was just in time for it.
pricey but it was all worthwhile.
check back for part 2 yes. :)
miss you all back in spore.
just moved in yesterday and homesickness been starting to kick in.
ouch, ):

and i'm SO SORRY to lanyan ):
i missed out this photo to post.
apologies to this lovely woman who sewed this pouch for me stitch by stitch.
okay it may not be perfect but it's really sweet and i'm using it already (:
